Connecting remote users to the intranet

I want to connect few remote 30 miles away users to the intranet of
our cumpas in a cost effective way, putting in mind that this solution
is temprarly for around one or two years. The solution may contain
Microsoft and/or Cisco components .Moreover, is there any special
solution using win2003 Terminal services and dial-up or so????,Any
ideas ,please.
