Hello. I have visual studio professional version 2003,
and I'm trying to connect to our Oracle database. I've
tried using the Oracle native driver, the MS provider for
ODBC, the MS provider for Oracle, but none of them work.
When I test the connection, it succeeds, but then it
tells me that this version of Visual Studio can only
connect to SQL Server Desktop Engine or MS Access
databases. The reason I upgraded to Visual Studio pro
ver. 2003 from vb.net Standard was because the MS website
stated that you could connect to Oracle using this
version (VS.net ver 2003). Does anyone have any
suggestions? I'm in desparate need!!
Thanks
