Connecting To My Other Computer Across A Network.

Im in college and I just got a new computer. Awhile back
I shared some folders on my old computer across our
college network but that was a while ago and since then I
have got a new computer and it is also hooked up to the
network and would like to be able to access file on my
other computer from my new one through the network but I
forgot my username and password i set alog time ago for
my frineds to access my folders and no one knows what it
was. Hope to I go about creating a new username and
password or find out what the old one was for my old
computer that is shared on the network?? the Operating
system is windows 2000 pro. please help thanx!!
