Connecting multiple OE users to COMMON Outlook contacts folder in WinXP

Just reconfigured WinXP at hometo have separate logins for wife and kids.
Have reconfigured OE so each only receives their own emal--i.e., no longer
using "Identities" within one master account to have separate e-mail.
DOWNSIDE: I can't figure out how to have each instance of OE "share" a
common Outlook 2000 contacts folder. Used to be easy, because their was one
instance of that folder (with one WinXP login), and I could get all
"identities" to see it by setting the choice in OE address book to "share
Outlook 2000 contacts" information.

Best kludge so far is to replicate the hard-coded Contacts folder in
Outllook 2000 into a Personal folders/Shared Ccontacts folder in a shared
directory. But HOW do i tell OE to look their for its e-mail addresses in
that shared personla folder and NOT the default Contacts 2000 folder?!?
Maybe via some registry setting? (Should be easy, but of course, with MS,
it's not. They always assume we users are too stupid to understand
directories and folders, so they just hide that scary confusing choice from
us, and make their own guess as to what "most users" will want. Grrrrr!)

Thanks in advance for any and all help!! :-)

Patrick
