connecting to a macintosh peer to peer network

I just bought a dell m70 laptop. the rest of our office has macintosh
computers. So, our office printers are on the macinstosh workgroup. I can't
seem to see our printers even though our mac is set to allow windows sharing.
what am I missing, or not doing correctly?
