I have installed File Services for Macintosh on our
Windows 2000 Server. I then go to the Mac OS 9 computer
and activate AppleTalk (using Ethernet). When I go to
Chooser and double-click on AppleShare, I see my server's
name. After double-clicking on it, I am able to log onto
the Windows 2000 Server. However, all I ever see is a
Microsoft UAM Volume icon on the Macintosh Desktop. I
don't know how to access the server's files. Can someone
help me?

Go to - Computer Management >> Shared Folders >> Shares. Once you get into
the shares folder you have to create a shared folder and there will be an
option to share for Mac at the bottom of the window. Now unfortunately I
don't think you can share a folder with Mac that has been created already
you may have to recreate the ones that you want the Mac users to use.

You can create a Mac volume of any folder, irregardless of whether it has an
SMB share or not, but you cannot make a volume of a folder that is inside a
volume.
