Connecting to local machine

Hi, I have a tomcat running in the same machine where I run the Pocket
Pc emulator. Does any one knows how can I do a web request from the
emulator to the tomcat. Something like in the pc loclahost:8080... I try
to do it with my machine IP but it doesn't work.
