Hi All:

I recently found information about Per Connection Settings in XP Pro;
however, I could not find any info on how to configure this feature. See I
have a field technician that will be connecting to several different networks
which use static IP addresses. Is there any way I can set up multiple
connections for the same NIC without having the end user change the TCP/IP
info each time he connects to a different network? Any and all help is
appreciated. Thanks.

A network connection can have multiple static IP addresses. Set up
the first one, as usual, in the TCP/IP properties. Then, click
Advanced and add the others.

If that doesn't work (because of the need to specify different DNS
servers or default gateways for different networks), use one of these
programs to store multiple network configurations and switch between
them easily:

NetSwitcher

MultiNetwork Manager

Mobile Net Switch
