Does anyone know if it is possible to attach a hard drive
taken from a dead laptop and attach it to a Win2000
server. We need to retreive the data from the laptop and
transfer it to the server.

You just need to aquire an adapter to mate the wireing up.

put it in a usb 2 enclosure and recover from there ?
