I am having a problem that started a few days ago. My pc has 2 different
drives, and one still connects to the internet, and the other will no longer
connect at all when I click an internet explorer. Can someone help me figure
this out please? Thanks

Well you will first have to explain what "two drives" have to do with the
problem.
Do you mean you have "Two Operating Systems"? Then what are they?
In a DOS windows type "ipconfig /all" from both "drives" and compare the
results.
Each should have the save Mask & Default Gateway.
Also do you have any firewalls?

Remove the kNOT to reply.
But it is best to share it with the group.

Yor,

Yes, I have 2 operating systems and both are 2000 pro.
I have no firewalls that I am aware of at least.
I had been running fine on either system for quite a while, and all of a
sudden the one will not connect to the internet.

I did type the ipconfig/all on both systems, and only the one brings up all
the information.

The other just shows.

Host Name:
Primary DNS Suffix:
Node Type:
IP Routing Enabled:
WINS Proxy Enabled:

Nothing else??

When I try to open an internet explore on the side that can't seem to find
the server. I can click the properties on the window and I recieve the
following:
res://C:\WINNT\system32\shdoclc.dll/dnserror.htm#htp:

Any other suggestions?

Thanks - Jammin

The fact that Ipconfig shows nothing on the one system is where to start.
Check the configuration of the TCP/IP properties on that system, it looks
like the properties maybe empty.

res://C:\WINNT\system32\shdoclc.dll/dnserror.htm#htp: means there is no
proper DNS server for the system to query.

Do you use DHCP or are the systems static?
Are the NIC drivers loaded?
