Hello,
I have a dell laptop with intel 945GM graphic adaptor.
It won't offer additional resolution options when my monitor is connected
with its 5-pin BNC cable. The maximum resolution permitted by the graphic
adapter is 1024x768 but my monitor is a high-end EIZO 21" CRT which can
display video in much higher resolution.

I think windows can not check for monitor VESA information through a BNC.
This is most likely the problem. I think if I used a VGA cable things would
work fine but
I don't want to buy me an extra VGA cable. So my question is:

Can I somehow make XP output high video resolution through a BNC cable?

cheers,
