Hi,

I have Samsung cell phone with camera. I also have USB cable to
connect it to PC. But my PC can only charge my cell, it does not
recognize it otherwise. Is there any way to drop photos directly from
my cell to PC.....?

I assume my Service Provider want me to waste my precious minutes
emailing my photos to myself.

Thanks, boyboyds.

Goto Samsung.com & download the software for your phone, install it & then
you can do what you need to

Thank you SpamCop and Jinxi,

.......but Samsung has no software for my brand T301g and I do not know
how to take memory card out.
This is not like a digital camera where you just pop mem card out.
Where do I find mem card ....? Is it sealed inside....?

I gess I am stuck with it

boyboyds.

I have a Samsung Messager. I could never get their software to work
reliably, so I ended up just doing file transfers via Bluetooth. That
has been 100% reliable . . . slow but reliable <LOL>.

It should be notes that several cell signal providers do "turn off"
features of their offered phones so as to force users to use their
high-prices cell signals for these transfers. I reside in Canada and
Bell Mobility is actively doing this "laming" of their cell phones.

I think the term you want is "crippling", or "hobbling".

Verizon Wireless does the same thing here in the States. In the past,
I've been able to find "mods" on the Internet to make my phone more
truly mine, but such tools aren't available for every phone.

Are you certain that the phone even has USB capabilities? Just because it
has a USB port that doesn't mean the phone has USB capabilities in it's
software. I have a Motorola V3 which does have USB features, and my Mom has
a Motorola W376 which has a USB port but no USB capabilities.

Well, I do need some education here. Isn't Bluetooth a device that
goes around you ear....? How do you use it to transfer data to PC....?
By the way my phone does have Bluetooth capability.

Thanks, boyboyds.
