I've recently reinstalled windows ( xp home ) and have
been unable to connect to my isp ( onetel.net ) on
broadband.
each time i try, the error message 737 PPP link
control protocol was terminated appears, and if i redial,
I get error 691 username/password not recognised on this
domain.
I have checked and double checked all the settings,
have uninstalled and reinstalled the alcatel speedtouch
modem, and downloaded the latest drivers.
The guys at onetel helpline seem to be as baffled
as me - meanwhile I'm still paying for a service that I
can't receive!
Any suggestions welcomed,
Trev
