Connecting 2 Networks at the same time ??

My computer is connected to the Internet trough a LAN
Not a home or work LAN , but wireless acess using a NIC and an
ISP .
When on ocasion I use the DUN simultaneously , the DUN
"takes over " the connection , and no data is sent / received by the
LAN Icon .
Is there a way to use both at the same time ??
