Connected to exchange, can receive but can't send mail

Hi,

I'm currently connected to an MS Exchange 2003 server. I have my profile set
up in cached exchange mode. Under this configuration, I can receive mail
fine, but I can't send any mail.

Sending gives me the error: "Task 'Microsoft Exchange Server - Sending'
reported error (0x80040115): 'The connection to the Microsoft Exchange Server
is unavailable. Outlook must be online or connected to complete this action."

As an interesting wrinkle, if I connect in non-cached (full server
connection) mode, then I have no trouble.

Any ideas what might be wrong?
