I am trying to use my work computer at home and connect to a printer that is shared on my XP Home box. I can do it by disconnecting from the domain and connecting to the workgroup but for some reason the IT guy at the office don't like reconnecting me to the domain every day Is there a work around? Maybe another way to share the printer w/o a print server?

Make your homemachine a member of a workgroup with exactly the same name as
your officedomain.

Thanks. Do I then remain connected to my domain or do I switch between workgroup and domain?

Don't change your officemachine. Leave it in the domain, else you'll have to
ask the systemadministrator to rejoin it to the network each and every time.
