Hi,

I'm trying to connect two ‘Windows XP – HOME' machines using a direct
Ethernet cable (without a Hub) but I cannot find a way to make the
computers "see" each other.

Can anyone help me with this?

Amos

Is it a crossover cable - a "straight-thru" patch cable won't do.

Then same workgroup/different PC IDs/same subnet eg. 192.168.1.1,
192.168.1.2/share something on each PC
