Word 2003 "Send to>Mail Recipient>As Attachment" returns "Not Implemented"
whereas "Send to>Mail Recipienet" does make a connections as works perfectly.
This confirms that MAPI is activiated with Outlook 2003. Once the
connection is made with "Mail Recipient" and Words remains open I can then
use the "Mail Recipient>as Attachment".
What do I need to do to be able to use "Mail Recipient as Attachment"
directly from the Word document? Is there a bug in my copy of Words that
blocks out the "as Attachment" option?
Thanks

Do you have "Mail as attachment" checked on the General tab of Tools |
Options?

Yes, I do.

I have checked that in adddition to Word, the" Mail as attachment" does not
work for Excel, Powerpoint or any other programs that I can find unless I
have made the connection through" Mail to Recipient" and left that prgroam
open so the connection is made to Outlook..
