I have install e SQLServer 2005 in another machine with a specific instance.
The server name is Server1 and the instance name is MyDatabase.

When I wnat to add a new ODBC datasource, I enter Server1\MyDatabase as
server in the Wizard, but it say that "The server does not exist"

How can I connect a remove SQLServer 2005 with instance name via ODBC?

This stuff is for SQL-Server Express 2005 but nearly everything apply to
SQLServer 2005 too.

Why would you want to connect with ODBC? It's like trying to make a
trans-Atlantic call with a CB radio (possible, but difficult).
