I have called linksys and iphone and they tell me to contact the other?

I would like to access my home network through my iphone and more
specifically Microsoft Outlook when I am away from home. How can I determine
the settings etc. to do this?

I have WRT54G router that I can remotely connect to one of my PC's
internally via Remote desktop or directly.

I have tried everything but unable yet.

I know this may not be the right forum to ask but I am at dead ends.

Thanks

You'll need your router to allow access to your local network from outside.
Linksys routers usually contain a firewall that you'll need to adjust and if
you haven't altered the default settings, Windows will also have one that
doesn't allow inbound connections. Google "set up home network to allow
remote access" and you'll get 1.5 million hits, the first frew pages
containing valid articles.

This isn't an outlook problems - its how you have windows and the router
configured.

I'd ask in one of:
microsoft.public.networking.firewall
microsoft.public.networking.ipsec
microsoft.public.networking.wireless
microsoft.public.vista.networking_sharing
