Connect printer to wireless network?

I have two computers on a wireless network; my main computer is hard-wired
to a Wireless DSL router, but I do most of my computing in the kitchen with
my second PC, a long way from my main computer's location. I have a Brother
laser-printer connected to my main computer via the parallel printer-port
and I can access it from the kitchen, but then I have to go and get the
output in the room where my main computer is in. My question is: is there
a wireless adapter I can use that will plug directly into the parallel port
of my printer to make it accessible from anywhere on the network? I suppose
that a wireless print server would work, if such a thing exists, but I'm
only talking one printer, not 2, 3, or 4! The Brother printer won't
accomodate a network adapter, the parallel port is all that it has, no USB
connection either!

Thanks all!

Ray

Yes they exist, if you happened to find one that supports
multiple printers but the cost is still right, no worries,
you only hook up the one printer. MIght be handy if it
supports both USB and parallel since so many these days are
USB, could be the next printer you buy is as well.

If you want it a bit cheaper you might find deals on the now
aging 11b models (substitute 802.11b for 802.11g in above
link).

A search on "wireless print server" turned up this. Looks like
it still needs a source of power, so there must be a power
brick that goes with it (not pictured). It hangs off the
printer parallel port.

That's what I want to do, but I don't have the counter space to sit it next
to my kitchen PC and connect it locally; that's why I want a wireless
network connection! This way I can stick it up on a shelf in the closet and
not have to run a cable.

Thanks for the question!

There is a simple answer to your question. You need a print server. Here is
a bunch of them:

But this one will be good for you because it also has a USB port:
