You'll have to do it from an amp (levels too low from phono) - just need
a common dual RCA to miniplug for your soundcard. Then you'll need
software to record with, either the Analog Recorder add-in for WMP or
you can search for other recording software: there's nothing built into
Windows.

You will need to get software that will let you digitalize your analog
content.

First, hook your phono through an amplifier and run a cord from your
headphone jack into the line-in input on your computer.

Next, go to PCWorld.com and go to downloads. In the search window type in
"media Digitalizer". You can download a trial version that will let you do
ten conversions for free and if you want to purchase the software it will
cost you $25. I tried it and found it to be very easy to use and it did a
great job. I highly recommend it.
