That will work as long as you use outlook 2003 or 2007 so you can use the
outlook connector.

But only if the OP has a paid-for Hotmail account. AFAIK the Connector won't
synch free Hotmail calendars...

That must have been a recent enhancement then. (Well, since I discontinued
using the Outlook Connector about eight to nine months ago....)

Which connector does that page talk about? The first line of the overview
for the 12.0 connector (which is calendar only for paid accts):
A new version (12.1) of the Outlook Connector offering free calendar
synchronization is available here.

12.1 does support free accounts fully.

Thanks for the heads up. There's obviously two different pages at MS - I was
looking at this one:
http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...n#Requirements

Very confusing!

To me there is a difference between "synchronising" and "being able to view".
I can certainly view my hotmail calendar in Outlook, but I don't know how to
physically synchronise it with Outlook 2003, such that I don't have to copy
stuff over. Any ideas? My PDA doesn't synch with Hotmail, hence the question!
