This is network printer with network capability. can i connect it to
the wireless router thru cat 5 cable and share with laptops that are
connect to the router? or do i need to connect it to one of the laptop
thru cat 5 and then share it over the router? the router is airlink

Yes. I would suggest that you give it a static IP address. If you
don't you will have problems. Call the tech support people and they
will give you directions. I have that printer and it gave me fits
until I gave it a permanent IP address.

Been there done that.
