Greetings Karen,
The "normal way" to place a Netmeeting call is to simply call the other persons IP address
(click the Call menu, then New Call in Netmeeting). Although you can find third-party ILS
servers (See
http://www.netmeetinghq.com/ils/servers.phtml), the Microsoft Internet Directory
has been down for years (and isn't coming back).
