how to connect ibm pc to tv using windows xp system

I am trying to connect my IBM loptop to Panasonic TV.
However I can not do it does anyone know how to do this.

Greetings --

This has little to do with the operating system. Does the laptop
have an S-jack and an adapter cable designed for that express purpose?
Does the laptop's video adapter and drivers provide this capability?
