how to connect with FTP

Im starting a fansite, and I got a host...I got as far as Remote Site
Prop....and I have choices I choose FTP but what em I supposed to put in the
blanks?....will my host provide them?

You should use Publish via http:// if your web space is FP extensions enabled...it will make life easier.

Yes, your host should provide you with at least basic setup/publishing information.
