Hum, I have not experienced the above. Are you running a split database by
any chance?
(the layout, and setup of tables and relationships has to occur in the back
mdb - you
thus have to open the back end...not the front end....
It is not clear if your database is split, but if it is, then you need to
open the back end for changes.
If you are new to the concept of splitting a database, then you can read the
following

If you not split, and your table layout still does not remain, I not sure
what your problem is....

When you select print relationships, and the "report" is finally displayed,
try going file->page setup. Change the margins to .5 all around.
Further, depending on your layout...perhaps landscape might also help.....
(just like a report that is too wide.....extra pages are printed...).
So, move the tables away from the margins...and lay them out going mostly
down....not across the page...
You can fit about 4 tables across, after that...you will have to print in
landscape mode.....
So, try narrowing out your table layout...or try printing in landscape
format....
And, the best solution?
Highlight one table in the relationships window...now hit the del key to
remove the table....keep hitting the del key over an over to delete all the
tables displayed (you are not harming anything...but just removing them from
the Relationships window).
Now, start over...place 3, or 4 tables...and check how they print......
Now...add 3 or 4 more tables....again again check how they print....
Do this, and you will see at what point your printout gets messed up.....
