I am very confused and frustrated. I wan to set up a new mail account but am
running into various problems. I recieved a computer for christams so this
is my first time trying to do anything like this. the computer is a dell
with Vista while im use to windows XP. Anyway, i dont know how to go about
this whole thing with the questions about servers, ingoing and outgoing pop3
and etc. Then I saw in a help section I could set it up through Windows
Live, so i dowloaded it and I thought it would be in connection to my
Hotmail email account...I'm just so confused on what I need to do and how I
need to do it. Please provide some assistance anyone! thanx

If so, you'll get help for it faster if you ask in newsgroup:

microsoft.public.windows.live.mail.desktop

I think, though, that once you enter your Hotmail account, Windows
Live Mail will help you through the rest of the setup.
