Alright, I'm running the ASUS a7n8x e-deluxe with a athlon
XP 3000+, and when I turn down the fsb, it stalls out and
won't read the disk but I can reboot fine, but when i turn
it up the cd works and it will stall. I have 512 ram, and
a ge force fx 5900, what do I do. I need to repair the
system but it's constantly stalling out on me.

Try this set the FSB to default settings and give that a try

Alvin I tried to do that and it still stalled doing the
same thing. I've gotten to the point that I can get into
the repair section to fix the problem that I currently
have but I get the stalling when I try to type things in
the command prompt. I think it's that the settings are so
different that the mother board is over heating and
causing it to slow down and eventually crash. I've also
gotten the opinion from many people in resulting
situations that it's XP. I don't know.
