conflicting device

I have a p4b Asus motherboard with pent4 processor and
averto G-force fx graphics board. I am running win Me and
when i try to upgrade to XP setup stops anf says that my
video card and main board or no compatable. Both are
listed in the hcl list.I don't know were to go from here.
Any help would be appreciated

Paul, try removing everything from your computer except the bare
essentials. Also, go into the Bios and select
Optimized Settings or even Failsafe Settings.
