Conflict webcam-tv card

I have Win TV PVR 250 Hauppauge TV card installed, and as a result of that my
webcam (BestBuy Easy Cam DV) can't be properly set up. I plugged it in,
Windows recognized the new hardware and installed it, but when I tried to
configure the webcam for MSN Messenger, it says that my only video source is
the TV card (which can't be used for that purpose).

I don't know what to do. I've installed the webcam many times, I've tried to
find something wrong in the Control Panel, but it still doesn't work. The
device is OK, as I've used it before under Win 98, and it is supposed to be
Win XP compatible (as printed on the package).

I'd be really grateful if anyone could give me a solution for this annoying
conflict between my tv card and my webcam. Thanks in advance! Regards.
