Hello,

I have one mapped drive as F:, that I cant change because it works with a
DOS program that uses this driver letter, so if I change the mapped drive to
a late letter lets say X: the program gives me all kinds of errors. However
when I put a USB device driver it assumes the letter assigned to the mapped
drive. Is there any way to change the auto assignment letters for USB
devices? For example when I put a USB device it assigns a letter starting
from the G: and so on.

Thanks

Yes,

put usb in
Go to start, open control panel, open Administrative tools, open computer management, on the left, click disk management, on the right in the bottom panel you will see your USB drive listed, right click it, select Change Drive Letter and paths, click the change button, pick a new drive letter for the usb drive using the drop down on the right, click ok, click ok, you should now be able to open my computer and see your usb as the new drive letter you just picked.
