I recently bought a Konica-Minolta PagePro 1350W printer.
I kept getting a "printer mismatch/printer not installed"
message. I tried updating the driver; using parallel and
USB cables; etc. I exchanged the printer, thinking it was
defective. Still had problems. Tried reformatting my
harddrive as a last resort. Same problem. Decided to try
removing security software to see if any caused a
conflict. I tried Microsoft Anti-Spyware first and my
printer problems were gone. I've had no problems since
but I also don't have the protection of MS ASW. Any
suggestions as to how I might be able to use Anti-Spyware
and not have to give up my printer in the process? Thanks
