Using FP03

http://www.goapple.com/statistics/subscribe_page.htm

There is a form with a submit button at the bottom. Upon clicking "Submit",
the user is directed to a page at:
http://www.goapple.com/statistics/_v...cribe_page.htm that
has the error below:
"FrontPage Error.
User: please report details to this site's webmaster.

Webmaster: please see the server's application event log for more details."

I have a confirmation page and it is indicated correctly in the form
properties section.

Can someone help?

Thanks,
Tony

Did you check the log files to see what they say?

The confirmation page doesn't have anything to do with this issue. Luckily
it's something fairly simple. It looks like the anonymous internert user
account (IUSR) doesn't have access to the file or directory that the forms
results are saved in. By default, FP creates a directory called _private and
sets the IUSR account to have writer permissions to this. The IUSR account
must have write permissions to the corret files in this directory or else
the web server has absolutely no ability to save the results since Windows
will deny them permission.

In your case, the file is _private/form_results.csv. Try pulling it up
directly from the browser and you'll get a 403 error. That's a security
error basically saying that you don't have permissions to perform that
action. The IUSR account must be able to read/write/change/delete this file
in order to successfully access it and add the data needed.

Hope this helps,
