Confirm entry is Vista-only?

W2K here and I hope to confirm that

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Windows
LoadAppInit_DLLs REG_DWORD 0x1

is Vista-specific and ignored by all earlier NT5x Windows.
Initial research appears to support this.

The recent ZERT ANI temporary patch has not removed this valuename
on uninstall although it did add it originally here (W2K).

It's a Vista only key, Mark. This explains it a bit:

(It replaces the AppInit_DLLs key)

Thanks John, I did see that one.
Authoritative in your own experience then I take it.
Thanks again.
