To configure a windows xp machine's local security poliy
i have used a configuration database btwm.sdb which
resides on a cd. I opened the database using secedit and
ue the CONFIGURE setting to configure the computer using
the settings in the database.

i was under the impression that once i had configured the
machine, the settings in the database were merged into
the local security policy and the database was not needed
any more

however when i boot my machine up i get the following
event log saying that it cannot find the original file

"services (748) An attempt to open the file "F:\BTWM.sdb"
for read only access failed with system error 3
(0x00000003): "The system cannot find the path
specified. ". The open file operation will fail with
error -1023 (0xfffffc01)."

do i need the sdb file on the machine even after i have
configured the computer using it?
