Hello.
I have 3 computers in my house - one main one with XP Pro which is hooked up
to my cable modem and a wireless router, and two other XP Pro machines in
other parts of my house connected wirelessly for internet access.
I have no Windows network and/or domain as the wireless desktops get
internet from the router.

I want to be able to 'see' the hard drives on both of the wireless systems
in order to copy files from/to.
Can someone tell me how I go about doing that.
Do I need to configure each wireless system separately and then configure my
main desktop?
What specifically do I need to do to each system?

You need all computers to have the same workgroup name.
Set workgroup name in the properties of my computer.
click computer name tab and change workgroup name and reboot.

You also need the computers to have the same sub network. If the IP
addresses are picked automatically from the routers DHCP they all should
already have the same subnetwork mask.
You then should be able to see the other computers shared folders.
Go to My network places.
click on entire network.
click on microsoft windows networks
You should see a list of the workgroups names.
click on the workgroup and you should see all of your computers.

You need to right click the drive on each computer and enable sharing and
security.
You need to this for every drive that you wish the other computers to see
and use.
Also if you have a software Firewall like ZoneAlarm you need to configure
the firewall to allow accsess to the computers between each other.
