Hi. I am new to Outlook and am trying to configure it to work with my gmail
email account. I have it set up for the Inbox and am receiving messages
fine. However, I cannot seem to migrate the sent messages folder from gmail
to outlook 2007. Also, when I send an email via my blackberry (which also
uses the gmail account) the sent messages do not appear in outlook. How do I
fix this?

POP3 accounts are from server to client only and also only the Inbox folder.
For what you want, you need an IMAP account.

Did you configure Outlook to connect to Gmail via POP3 or IMAP? IMAP is
where you want to be.

Thank you. I am on POP. How do I switch to IMAP while in Outlook?

Same way as you did for your POP3 account but now select IMAP. Check
Google's documentation for the server settings.
