HELP!!!
I have a Dell Photo All-in-one printer 942.
Does anyone know how I can receive faxes when I also have an answering
machine (voice mail) that is connected with the same telephone line?

You'll have to use some external device like CatchACall which will catch all
the calls and work out whether it's a voice call for the voice mail or a fax
for the PC and then route them in the right direction.

With many of these AIO units, this is done by configuring the fax to answer
on a greater number of rings than the answering machine so it doesn't
prevent the answering machine from activating. It will then hear the fax
tones coming in on the answering machine and activate to receive the fax.
(The caller may hear your answering machine message which can confuse
him/her if not expecting it.) This is normally covered in the AIO
documentation. Have you checked yours? I don't know if that particular
unit works the same way, but it is very common.
