I want to configure a combo box in powerpoint with hard
coded values. How do I do this. A step by step walk
through would be great?

I tried everything I could think of with the values in the
Properties dialog box with no luck.

You can use my free VBA Controls Assistant add-in from
http://officeone.mvps.org/addins.html to configure a ComboBox control. The
add-in attempts to simplify life when using VBA controls on PowerPoint
slides.
