You need to add the SUS.ADM template to your Windows 2000 and above workstations. If you don't have the template, you can download it from Microsoft. You have a few options on how to deploy the template. You could manually load it, configure it on each machine, you could write a REG file that had the correct key settings, or if you have Active Directory, you could use a GPO. The settings in the template are configurable, like time of update, server or IP address use, etcetera.
On a local W2k/XP box, type gpedit.msc at the run command, Open the COmputer COnfiguration, right click Administrative Templates, click add template, select/browse for the sus.adm. I believe there are 4 settings you can configure.
