Configuring 2 wireless routers for 1 network

OK, here's the scenario... I have two rooms in my house with multiple
computers in each and I want the computers in each room to be hard wired to
each other via a normal hub/switch, but to use two wireless routers to
connect the two rooms and as such allow them to share an internet
connection... I would prefer not running Cat-5 to the room without the cable
modem and I do not want to have to buy a wireless card for each of the
machines in the two rooms... Is there a way to configure the two routers to
do this and if so, how? One of my WAPs is a Linksys and the other is an
AirLink, if that makes a difference...

I don't know that you can do this with wireless routers. You can do it with
most WAPs. They allow you to create a wireless bridge, so you could just
attach one to the switch in each room. You'd still need a router, but any
cheap wired SOHO should work.

The units that I have are WAPs... They also have routers which I could
disable if necessary... So far, I haven't been lucky with the various
options that I've tried on the two units to get them to communicate... I'm
using WEP-128 on both and the key is kosher since I've tested it with
another machine...

Why dont you use 2 CPL adapters to create a virtual ethernet link between your
hubs ?
