Configure workstation for preferred domain controller

I'm going to permanently remove my oldest domain controller form my
production environment. How do I configure the few remaining workstations
that prefer to login to the old domain controller and point them or configure
them to prefer one of the new domain controllers vs. the old one being
retired?
