Configure wich folder appears when opening Windows Explorer

Hello!
Could anyone tell me how to change the folder that is
shown when I open Windows Explorer? The default folder is
C:\My Computer, but I would like it to open on a diferent
folder?

Hi

Which folder? If you type or copy/paste the following into the Target: pane for the WE shortcut it will open with the C: drive expanded:

%systemroot%\EXPLORER.EXE /e,c:

Hi! Thanks...

Actually I wanted the Explorer to show the folder d:\My
Documents (D: is the sec ond partition of my Hard Disk)

Hi Betinha,

If you redirect your Windows XP "My Documents" folder to "D:\My Documents"
then you can just click on the "My Documents" Start Menu item and it will
take you to that folder.

To redirect "My Documents", bring up the Start Menu, right-click on the "My
Documents" item and select Properties, then type in "D:\My Documents" into
the Target text box. Click OK and you should on your way.
