How to configure step by step

I got two Desktop pc's using winxp pro connected to each
other with 5 port belkin switch and recently I bought a
laptop with win xp and I bought a Belkinn Access Point
and pcmcia wireless network card for laptop to have
wireless network on my laptop.
Would you please explain what TCP/IP settings should be
for laptop,for access point and for main desktop computer
which is connected to ADSL Internet,and how to configure
settings step by step,Pleeeease.
