I've already visited this location with no luck >
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/304040

All I want to do is share a folder with another computer via my home's
LAN.

The "Use Simple File Sharing (Recommended)" is not listed on my
computer anywhere either.

I am using Windows XP HOME edition

I have these SERVICES disabled/manual

Are any of these needed for sharing on XP home??

thank you..

Can someone walk me through this please?

Please???????

HOME edition gets access to the Sharing and Permissions settings by booting
to Safe Mode, and logging on as the default "Administrator" account.

Help and Support
Search for "sharing files and folders"
Look at the sharing files and folders overview.
