Got another PC around you can stick the Asus drive in?
Have you done any recent hardware changes, like flipping cables, M/S
settings etc that might be wrong now? or did this just start one day.
The will not open the door, is a pretty good hardware issue. With
power only, I'd say the drive should at least open and close with the
button.
