Check your FBA log in C:\Windows\FBA
If EWF is returning an invalid file handle, it may be because during FBA,
EWF is attempting to configure the EWF partition after an extended
partition. EWF creates a configuration partition after the last partition
on the disk and sometimes returns an invalid file handle if that last
partition is an extended partition.
Try repartitioning your disk so that the last partition on the disk is a
primary partition. See if that doesn't resolve the problem.
