Regarding MSDE, that's a difficult subject because we are still negotiating
to have it componentized. However, I'll try to find my list of component
dependencies required in order to install it via the MSDE installation
package.
To configure users, add the User Account component (add one instance for
each user you need in the runtime). Read the help associated with the
component, check the xpehelp.chm or you can read how to configure User
Accounts in the online documentation for XPe on MSDN. Basically you can set
which user group the account will be associated with, the name of the user
and the user's password.
Destination drive letters are set in the TD in the configurable UI under the
"settings" node.
